Things are not looking good for civilization. Our little planet is melting, drying, acidifying, flooding, and burning faster than we know how to respond. Could it be that the negative dystopias portrayed decades of fictional film and literature from the past are coming true? An evening dedicated to the topic what will we eat in the future? was held at the .HBC space in Berlin in partnership with artist-curator Anastasia Loginova. The event, explored the question through a multi sensory experience. Including the vintage 1973 film Soylent Green, fictional cannibal futures in literature, experimental food and drink contrasting the growing disparity between rich and poor, and an interpretive dance performance.
